VW South Africa has launched the second best selling passenger vehicle in the country. Together with the Golf, the Polo has been a staple for many a South African driver since the 90s. With the new design, he new Polo has finally come of age. Here are some of the notable features on the 6th generation VW Polo;
The new Polo gets an interior and dashboard overhaul. The new dash comes in two standard trims and a a driver assist system including a lane change system, blind spot monitor with rear traffic alert, park assist, and a manoeuvre braking function.
The exterior explicitly borrows from the VW Golf making the new Polo longer, lower, larger inside and features visible design trimmings akin to the Golf. The new Polo also comes with a slightly bigger boot.
The trim lines and additional standard features distinguish the Trendline, Comfortline and the Highline.

- 1.0 TSI 70kW Comfortline DSG – R280 700

The new Volkswagen Polo models come standard with a 3 year/45 000km Service Plan, 3 year/120 000km warranty and a 12 year anti-corrosion warranty. Service Interval remains 15 000km.
